In our Overseas Alcoholic Beverages business, we have enjoyed sustained growth as an alcoholic beverage company featuring unique beer brands, operating in about 45 countries, mainly in North America. As for our Overseas Beverages business, we operate in about 60 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, and in the Middle East, with a focus on the POKKA brand. This business serves as a growth driver for the Group, and we are aiming to further expand our market share here.

In the Overseas Alcoholic Beverages business, we aim to achieve revenue of 107 billion yen by strengthening brand investment in Sapporo Premium Beer, our core brand mainly sold in North America. In the Overseas Beverages business, we aim to achieve revenue of 33 billion yen by expanding our product lineup to meet the growing health consciousness in Singapore and by expanding our distribution network in the focus area of Malaysia.

Established presence in North America as the
first premium beer brand from Japan
The year 1964 marked the launch of our full-scale global business expansion with the export of beer to the United States. Since that time, we have expanded our business to approximately 45 countries, with a focus on North America. In the United States, Sapporo Premium Beer has maintained its No. 1 spot among beer brands from Asia for nearly 30 years since 1986, demonstrating its wide-ranging repute and familiarity as a premium beer brand among North American customers. In 2022, we acquired U.S.-based Stone Brewing as a subsidiary, beginning local production of Sapporo Premium Beer in 2023. This business is a growth driver for the Group, and we therefore aim to further expand our revenue in this area.

In addition to producing and selling beer at our own breweries in the United States, Canada, and Vietnam, we also produce and sell beer in Europe and Oceania in cooperation with local partners. In Canada, we are expanding our business through a portfolio of locally owned brands from Sleeman, the third largest beer brewer in the country. In Asia, we are expanding our business by exporting Sapporo Premium Beer to Southeast and East Asian countries from Sapporo Vietnam and breweries in Japan.

SLEEMAN
Sleeman was founded in in Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1834. After making it through Canada’s era of alcohol prohibition laws, the brewery was rebuilt by John W. Sleeman, great-great-grandson of founder John H. Sleeman. The Sleeman brand is loved by people across the country as one of Canada's most iconic beers.
STONE
Founded in 1996, Stone Brewing pioneered the West Coast Style IPA, helping to fuel the modern craft beer revolution and inspire generations of hop fanatics. The company operates two breweries in California and Richmond, plus seven taprooms and bistro locations. It also offers a wide range of craft beers, including Stone IPA, Stone Delicious IPA, Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager, and more.

In 1977, we established Pokka Corporation (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., pioneering overseas production site as Japanese beverage manufacurer. In Singapore, we boast an overwhelming market share of RTD tea catetory leading by our signature product JASMINE GREEN TEA. POKKA brand presence is growing in juice and coffee categories. Not only in Singapore, we enhance our overseas sales in growth market, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, aiming for future growth.

In 2010, we established sales company Miyasaka Marketing & Trading in Qingdao, China. Shinsyu-ichi Miso's exports have grown steadily over the years, reaching record sales in fiscal 2023.
