Our “Sapporo Group Long-Term Management ‘SPEED 150’” was formulated in November 2016 and has outlined goals for the next 10 years up to 2026, 150 years after the Group’s founding.

Sapporo Group Sustainability Policy

The Sapporo Group established the “Sapporo Group Sustainability Policy” in order to vigorously promote initiatives through its business to address social issues such as climate change, food loss, marine plastic waste, and regional revitalization as the “Sustainability Management”.
Based on partnerships between employees of the Sapporo Group around the world and stakeholders, we are working to realize a sustainable society by creating both social and economic value.

Sustainability Policy

Sapporo Group Code of Business Conduct (Established September 2003, revised December 2013)

This is the basis of regulations enforced at Group companies and the fundamental policy to realize the Sapporo Group Management Philosophy through daily conduct.
This Code focuses on corporate morals and ensures ethical behavior to enhance the corporate morals of the Sapporo Group.

Participation in the “United Nations Global Compact”

Sapporo Holdings entered the “United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)” on October 31, 2013. The UNGC initiative is a framework of cooperation between the United Nations and corporation with the aim of realizing sustainable growth. It also promotes responsible conduct from corporations under the ten principles in the four categories of “Human Rights”, “Labour”, “Environment”, and “Anti-Corruption”.
The Sapporo Group supports these ten principles and strives for sincere corporate activities with its “Sustainability Materiality” at the core of all initiatives to earn the stakeholders’ trust.
